Reitz, Poggi Promoted

Retlif Testing Laboratories has announced the promotion of Richard Reitz as Retlif Director of Engineering and Scott Poggi to the position of Retlif Director Of Operations.

As Director of Engineering Mr. Reitz will oversee Retlif’s testing and staff engineers at all the Retlif testing facilities including Ronkonkoma, New York Headquarters and Plainview New York composite laboratory, as well as the Harleysville (Pennsylvania), Charlotte (North Carolina) and Goffstown (New Hampshire) laboratories. Mr. Reitz will be based in Pennsylvania. Richard Reitz has been with Retlif since 1985, serving in several capacities.

Retlif President Walter A. Richard Reitz has the vision, the background, the training and the dedication to ensure technical coordination, expertise and communication between all Retlif laboratories, as well as communications between Retlif engineers and our clients.”

In his new position as Director Of Operations, Scott Poggi will oversee the day-to-day operations of Retlif Headquarters and all Retlif branch offices and laboratories. His new responsibilities include managing EMC/EMI and ESS Environmental testing services at Retlif testing facilities in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and New Hampshire laboratories.

Retlif Executive Vice President William Hayes commenting on the appointment said, “Retlif’s continuing expansion in testing and engineering services has necessitated stringent centralized control of all our laboratories and facilities. Both our EMC/EMI services and our Environmental Simulation Services (ESS) have demonstrated considerable growth. The appointment of Scott Poggi with his hands-on laboratory management experience adds a high level practical knowledge base, which includes 25 years of laboratory management. The addition provides direct reporting structures and will enable faster and more effective customer response across the board in every facility and laboratory.”
