Richard Reitz, Retlif’s Director of Engineering, has been awarded an American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) Preston Millar Award for his work supporting ACIL’s Conformity Assessment Section. This award is given to individuals who have made special contributions to the success of the Association and their Section over the past year. Richard received this award after being nominated by his peers in the Conformity Assessment Section, specifically for his continued representation of ACIL on the Exemplar Global/iNARTE Industry Advisory Panel and the ANSI – American National Standards Committee C63® – EMC Committee. Richard’s representation on these committees, including his timely, thorough and detailed reporting of committee activities, is of invaluable importance to ACIL. Richard is now a 5 time recipient of this award. The award is named after Preston Millar, late president of the former ETL Testing laboratories and the first President of ACIL, serving from 1937-1939.
