Tom Matteo, Coordinator of Retlif's Human Resources department, has been elected to the National Board of Directors of the Navy League of the United States at its annual convention in Kansas City, MO. Tom has been an active member of the Long Island Council of the Navy League for several years and is currently serving as its President.

The Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902 and currently has over 60,000 members though out 250 chapters worldwide. The Navy League is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating our citizens about the importance of Sea Power to U.S. national security and supporting the men and women of the Sea Services and their families.
