Retlif Testing Laboratories, utilizing the consulting services of Strategic Planning Partners has completed a company wide, multi location Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP). This EPP addresses all forms of emergencies from hurricanes and floods, to fire and a medical pandemic. The EPP defines specific protection, prevention, response, recovery and restoration efforts need to address such emergencies.

With Retlif having the advantage of multiple testing locations in different geographic locations, the EPP also addresses relocation procedures that can add greatly to the protection of valuable test instrumentation and sensitive files by relocating such items "out of harms way". The EPP also has clear value for our customers since it defines very specific and defined plans for the protection of customer supplied test samples and support equipment.

Recent guidelines from the Department of Homeland Security have strongly recommended all companies having such a plan in place and we at Retlif are pleased to be in the forefront of this effort.

Retlif was recently featured on the Long Island Channel 55 TV 11 O'clock Nightly News because of the EPP and how we would react to a major hurricane threat to Long Island.
