The first phase of facility improvements have been completed at the Harleysville, PA facility. The improvements included: a new customer lounge, featuring both individual work areas and wireless internet access, an improved internal power grid and the first of several shielded enclosure upgrades.
The power grid improvements include the addition of a 6.25kVA, single phase, 50 Hz motor generator and a 37.5kVA, three phase, 400 Hz motor generator.
The first of several planned shielded enclosure upgrades has resulted in a 12 foot by 20 foot by 10 foot enclosure with an attached 8 foot by 12 foot support room. The test chamber has been "RF Treated" using a mixture of carbon impregnated pyramidal absorber on the ceiling and ferrite tile on the walls. The test chamber is now fully compliant for MIL-STD-461E and DO-160 testing. The room also features a 6 foot wide by 7 foot high double door to allow for the access of larger test samples.
