Retlif is pleased to announce a major expansion to the scope of equipment requiring U.S.C.G. Approval that can be tested at Retlif. After a detailed and lengthly review of our capabilities, quality assurance procedures and existing accreditations and listings, the U.S.C.G. expanded our scope of products to include an additional 9 product sectors. Those sectors include: Speed and Distance Indicating Devices, Rate of Turn Indicator, Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS), ECDIS Backup equipment, Voyage Data Recorder, Shipborne Automatic Identification System (AIS), Daylight Signaling Lamp, Automatic Steering Aid for High Speed Craft, and Night Vision Equipment for High Speed Craft. This expansion not only addresses U.S.C.G. approval, but through the exisiting US/EU Mutual Recognition Agreement, also EU approval and CE marking of many of the devices listed.
