| Prior to marketing, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that a wide variety of products undergo testing to ensure that they comply with the technical standards specified in the Code of Federal Regulations. These requirements apply to devices that:
- Utilize timing (clock) signals in excess of 9 kHz but do not radiate RF energy by design or function (Computers and Microprocessor Controlled Devices).
- Intentionally radiate electromagnetic energy (Wireless Products).
- Connect to the Public Switched Telephone Network (Telephone Products).
- Generate RF energy for the treatment of a material (ISM Equipment).
The standards with which your device must comply and the approvals necessary vary depending upon the function and intended installation. Retlif is fully equipped, staffed and accredited to perform testing and gain the regulatory approvals necessary for your device.
