Our involvement with accreditations is historical. Recognizing
the importance of laboratory accreditation in international trade,
and also as a measure of quality laboratories, Retlif became the
first* U.S. laboratory to petition
the U.S. Government (NIST) to develop
a laboratory accreditation program in the area of Electromagnetic
Compatibility. Retlif remains fully committed to meaningful, well
administered and technically sound, laboratory accreditations, and
our EMC and Environmental Simulation Services are fully accredited
at both Retlif laboratory locations. The list of our accreditations
is extremely broad in scope. Currently we are accredited to ISO-STD-17025
by both NVLAP and A2LA.
Listings, Approvals, Recognized
Beyond formal accreditations, RETLIF also maintains recognized status
on multiple listings, approval and recognition programs. Some of
these programs include:
- Federal Communications Commission
- VCCI
- NIST EU CAB Designation
- U.S. Coast Guard
- Lloyds Register
- American Bureau of Shipping
- Industry Canada
- Ford Motor Company (XXXXXX Program)
- Defense Electronics Supply Center
- Defense Security Agency
- National Association of Radio and Telecommunications
Engineers
In addition to two strategically located,
fully equipped laboratories, Retlif also maintains representation
in Washington, D.C., with an office devoted to regulatory issues.
Due to this unique dedication of effort and resources, Retlif can
provide customers with up-to-the-minute information regarding the
requirements necessary for their concerns...as well as the likelihood
of near future changes in those requirements.
