Retlif - accreditations, approvals and certifications

Since the founding of Retlif Testing Laboratories in 1978, the company has been a leading force in the drive for accreditations, approvals and certifications. In fact in EMC testing, Retlif pioneered industry efforts that resulted in the creation of the NVLAP program. Retlif recognizes that laboratory accreditation will be the cornerstone of international trade. This is precisely why we will continue to vigorously pursue the acquisition of new and meaningful accreditations. A partial list of Retlif accreditations, approvals and certifications follows.

AUSTRALIA:

Australian Telecommunications Authority (AUSTEL) - commercial EMC and telecommunications testing.

CANADA:

Industry and Science Canada (formerly the Canadian DOC) - commercial EMC and telecommunications testing.
Association of Professional Engineers Ontario - temporary P.E. license for telecommunications testing.

EUROPEAN COMMUNITY:

Acemark approved - recognized by thirteen European Union Competent bodies.
Interference Technology International (ITI) - approved supplier of EMC testing services for the EC Directive based on ISO 9000, ISO Guide 25, EN45000. Issued by the UK Dept. for Trade and Industry through Interference Technology, an appointed Competent Body.

U.S.A.:

American Association for Laboratory Accreditation ( A2LA) - commercial and
military Environmental Simulation testing based on ISO Guides 25, 58 and
ISO 9002.
Defense Electronics Supply Center ( DESC ) - environmental simulation testing.
Federal Communications Commission ( FCC ) - listed test sites and facilities for commercial EMC and telecommunications testing.
Lloyds Register of Shipping - LR type approval; EMC and environmental testing.
National Association of Radio and Telecommunication Engineers ( NARTE ) - registered EMC and telecommunications engineers and technicians.
National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program ( NVLAP ) - commercial and military testing (based on ISO Guides 25 and 58; ISO 9002. Issued by NIST, U.S. Dept. of Commerce).
U.S. Coast Guard Approval - EMC and environmental testing.
